RUSH 2024
We are looking for the best and the brightest that are up to the challenge to be apart of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. We work to build leaders both personally and professionally and equip them with skills that will help them succeed in pharmacy school, in residencies, and in the workplace. Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. is the oldest and largest fraternity within the profession with over 65,000 Brothers internationally. WHAT IS RUSH?
Rush is a commitment-free process where students are invited to attend various events hosted by the Chapter. At these events, prospective members will have the opportunity to personally meet and interact with the Brothers of Kappa Psi. The goal of our rush events is to allow prospective members to get to know the Brothers as well as learn about Kappa Psi as a Fraternity before deciding to pledge.
All of our events are free and are open to all students. There is no obligation to join by attending our rush events.
WHAT IS PLEDGING?
Pledging begins when "rushees" accept a "bid" from the Brothers. During the pledge process, the pledge is not yet a Brother, but will experience what it takes to become one. The pledge process is the journey where pledges learn the meaning behind our four pillars and develop strong bonds between the pledge class and Brothers. Pledges should be prepared to work hard for the betterment of the Fraternity and the profession of pharmacy, rather than expectation of personal gain.

Join the Brothers of Kappa Psi to learn more about our Professional Fraternity! During this info session, you will learn more about our RUSH events, pledging, and our amazing Brothers. Come by to get a glimpse at the unique opportunities that are provided to our members in order to build us into successful pharmacists in all sectors of our industry. This information session will be mandatory for consideration for a bid.
Thursday, January 18th | 5:00-8:00 pm
► 9-Minute Networking | Room 334
Come and network with some of our most influential graduate Brothers. You will learn about their careers in pharmacy, why they chose Kappa Psi, and how Kappa Psi helped them become leaders in their fields!
Thursday, January 25th | 12:00-2:00 pm
► Game Day Social | Room 234
Need some post-exam relaxation? Kappa Psi has something for you! Come join the Brothers to and show your competitive side while getting to know the Fraternity and what it means to be a Brother of Kappa Psi. The Brothers will (try to) show off their card game expertise, while sharing the other skills that they have acquired through their time in the Fraternity.
